Crocodiles
are
reptiles,
which

they
are
cold
blood,
are
covered
in
dry,
 
scaly
skin,
 
and
have
 
a
backbone.
 
They
are
sometimes
called
‘living
fossils’
 
because
they
have been
living
on
Earth
 
since
 
the
time
 
of
 
the
dinosaurs.
