Sit

and
listen

to

the
quiet
wonders

of
our
world,

A
leaf

that
flutters from

an
autumn tree,
golden

crisp

and
curled

is

a
wonder

in

itself

to
see.

The
muted call

of

a
sudden
breeze
dancing
on

the
wave

of

an
ocean,

condemned

by
its
course
to
freeze,
blushes

the
cheeks
like

a
magic
lotion.

The
whispers

of
corn

as

it
flows
in

the
fields

fills
our
bodies
with

the
goodness

it
yields,

The
collision

of

a
raindrop
into

a
puddle

puts

a
reflection

into

a
muddle.

The
chatting of birds

as
they
feed

from

the
soil,

that
cold
concrete
jungles
come to
spoil.
