Ingredients

potatoes
2 tbsp
sunflower oil
Salt and pepper
 
Method
Preheat
oven
 
to
200C
 
/
 
400F

Gas Mark 6
Cut
 
the
potatoes
into
thick,
chips.
Rinse
them
under
cold
running water.
Dry
well
on
 
a
clean
tea towel.
Put
into
 
a
bowl
 
and
add
 
the
oil.
Mix
 
gently
together
until
coated.
Spread
 
the
chips
onto
 
a
baking tray.
 
Cook
in
oven
for
40
 
45
minutes,
 
turning
once
until
golden.
Add
salt and pepper
 
to
taste
 
and
serve
hot.
